“Great Hotel, even better Concierge!”

We so very much enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel Palace in Rome this past November. The hotel’s location is perfect, the staff is friendly and accommodating and its elegance creates lifetime memories of a trip to Rome. It was our first time in Italy. We toured nearly the entire country…yet we are still talking about how much we enjoyed the portion our time which we spent in this hotel. The most amazing part of the Grand Hotel Palace is their commitment to truly treating you as a guest. It begins prior to arrival and extends to well beyond departure. We will be forever grateful to the concierge staff, particularly Diana, for the kindness in her approach. She has gone out of her way to take care of us and provide a personal touch in fulfilling a unique request months after our checkout. Diana and her staff showed their commitment to providing a “second to none personal touch” by following through with precision on a request in February 2023 for us, though we had last visited the property in November 2022. In a time where having someone go above and beyond the call of duty for another is rare, Diana and the concierge staff exceeded our expectations and helped us make and preserve memories to last a lifetime. We hope to visit Rome again and personally thank the staff of the Grand Hotel Palace for providing such a special memory and personal touch! If you are trying to decide upon a hotel in Rome, look not further.

“Elegantly Amazing”

From before I even arrived this hotel was amazing. Because I arrived in Rome super early;Maria at reception, made my room available to me for early check in. She also upgraded my room. I was so thankful to her since I had been traveling all night. Then there is Mirko! what can I say he was equally as amazing. Each day he greeted me with a smile and helpful advice. He even asked how my day had been. He suggested the most perfect restaurant; Tullios, which was in walking distance. They are known for their authentic Italian cuisine with their homemade pastas and truffles. I ended up eating there twice thanks to his suggestion. One day when he knew it was going to rain, he gave me an umbrella for the day. He was also very knowledgeable about the hop on hop off buses, and I was able to book a 48 hour ticket through him. The hotel itself is conveniently located to many iconic spots that you can actually walk to. Mirko was great at giving me walking directions. As a solo traveler I felt completely safe at this hotel with its elegant entrance and doormen. The hotel restaurant serves delicious food. You must try the mushrooms! I highly recommend this hotel, and will absolutely be back myself in the future.

“Great experience”

My stay was amazing from the beginning to the end. The staff are professionals and very helpful. We have received a lovely bottle of Prosecco on arrival which was a really pleasant surprise. Diana from reception is a superstar. She was very welcoming upon check-in, pleasant to speak to, lovely attitude when approached and really helpful. The rooms are clean and beautiful. Breakfast amazing with plenty of choice for everyone
